Betsy Jacks is a visual artist, writer, and museum director.
Her paintings have been exhibited in New York City and in the Hudson Valley, and her written work has been published by both academic and commercial presses. Since 2003 she has been the Director of the Thomas Cole National Historic Site in Catskill, New York, and was previously the Director of Marketing for the Whitney Museum of American Art. She has degree in both Studio Art and Art History from Duke University and an MBA in Marketing from the Kellogg School of Business at Northwestern University. She lives with her husband and two daughters in Chatham, New York.
